FREDERICTON (CNB) - The Department of Transportation advises that the Thoroughfare Bridges located on Route 690 will be closed to all traffic beginning Monday, June 20, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Monday to Thursday; and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays.
The bridges will be open to traffic outside of these hours including weekends and Canada Day.
This closure is expected to last five weeks and is necessary to carry out repairs to the bridge decks.
Detour signage will be in place.
Drivers are reminded to exercise caution while these temporary measures are in place.
