FREDERICTON (CNB) - Pam's Convenience, a retail outlet at 283 St. Georges St., Grand Falls, has been fined and will have its tobacco licence temporarily suspended for selling tobacco to persons younger than age 19.
The Department of Finance, in conjunction with the Department of Public Safety, took action against the retailer in accordance with Section 5(1) of the Tobacco Sales Act.
The retailer was fined $288, and its licence to sell tobacco products will be suspended for one month, from July 1 to Aug. 1.
