Province hosts bilateral meetings during World Acadian Congress
The provincial government held a series of meetings with a number of visiting dignitaries on the first day of the World Acadian Congress. Some of the dignitaries involved in the meetings included Prime Minister Stephen Harper, former governor general Michaëlle Jean, France’s ambassador to Canada Phillip Zeller and Senegal’s ambassador to Canada Nancy Ndiaye Ngom, among others.
