Overview
Special liquor permits are required for the use of liquor in preparing food or in medical or scientific purposes.
Eligibility
All liquor permit applicants must be 19 years of age or older.
Description
A special permit is required for the use of liquor by a pharmacist, dentist, veterinary or medical practitioner, or a person engaged in a mechanical or manufacturing business or in scientific pursuits.
A special permit is required for the use of liquor in the preparation of food.
The Liquor Control Act is administered by the Department of Public Safety.
