GAGETOWN (CNB) – The provincial government is investing $85,000 to upgrade facilities at the Queens County Fair site.

Grand Lake-Gagetown MLA Eugene McGinley made the announcement on behalf of Business New Brunswick Minister Victor Boudreau, who is minister responsible for the Regional Development Corporation.

“This is an important infrastructure project for the Gagetown region,” said McGinley. “The Queens County Fair has a long and rich history. Investing in these types of events help communities grow stronger.”

The funding will be invested in improvements to the grandstand and new washroom facilities.
