SHIPPAGAN (CNB) - The provincial government is investing a total of $365,292 into two infrastructure improvement projects in Shippagan.

"These infrastructure investments will ensure the viability of two important marine facilities in Shippagan," said Economic Development Minister Paul Robichaud.

The province is investing $300,000 at the Shippagan Marine Service Centre. The project includes a study on the capacity needs of a mobile marine lift; a surface water treatment system; a new access gate; a shelter; electrical services; and exterior work.

The second project is for $65,292 for infrastructure improvements at the Shippagan marina.
