EDMUNDSTON (CNB) – The provincial government is investing $71,358 in infrastructure improvements to Club d'escalade in Edmundston.

"The provincial government is proud to invest in community projects that promote healthy living for our citizens," said Health Minister Madeleine Dubé. "Today's investment in the expansion of the climbing wall will increase wellness in Edmundston and the Madawaska region."

Dubé made the announcement today on behalf of Economic Development Minister Paul Robichaud.

Funding provided through the Regional Development Corporation will be used to expand the club's existing climbing wall, acquire new equipment, and provide training for monitors.
