PLASTER ROCK (CNB) – The provincial government is investing $15,000 to help upgrade a municipal park in the Village of Plaster Rock.

"This investment will assist in upgrading a municipal facility which is used by residents and tourists visiting the region," said Wes McLean, MLA for Victoria-Tobique.

McLean, who attended the event on behalf of Economic Development Minister Paul Robichaud, was joined by Plaster Rock Mayor Judy St. Peter for the announcement.

The funding is being provided through the Regional Development Corporation. Plaster Rock is investing $15,500 in the project.
