FREDERICTON (GNB) – Lt.-Gov. Graydon Nicholas will participate in the traditional 15-gun Royal Salute in Fredericton on Victoria Day.

The public is invited to take part on May 19 at noon.

Members of the 3rd Field Artillery Regiment from Saint John will be firing the guns behind the Victoria Health Centre on Woodstock Road, adjacent to Government House.

Nicholas will receive the salute and inspect the troops.

The gun salute is a tradition since Nicholas took office more than four years ago.
